Terry Heiss takes his faith very seriously. His law firm offers a unique, but very valuable approach to family law. His Christian perspective proves especially valuable during the mediation process, throughout which he is able to deliver a spirit of cooperation. While he is guided by his faith, he is respectful of people of all backgrounds, and determined to make the legal experience as comfortable and stress-free as possible for all clients. His friendly attitude and respectful demeanor are greatly appreciated by his grateful clients, who also speak highly of his in-depth legal understanding.
Prior to pursuing a career in law, Terry Heiss attended St. Gregory’s University and Aquinas College. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and then enrolled at the Thomas M. Cooley Law School. After earning his Juris Doctor, he worked with the Kent County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office. He was an attorney with Ball, Van Dam and Ross for several years before launching Ada Legal Group, which he continues to preside over today. He is proud of his work with the Ada Legal Group, and eager to assist clients with everything from divorce to real estate matters.
Involvement in the legal community is essential, which is why Terry Heiss is an active member of several professional organizations. He is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and the Grand Rapids Bar Association — and the proud president of Jehu Ministries International and Living Grace Ministries.
